Maybe they wont change the comment on the matter. Years ago, Oleg told us that the sounds where great, but only when using a high end sound system.
But one thing is clear: The old IL2 sounds does not sound like the original birds.

Guys, the whole simulation is a payware-placeholder for something being released sometime next year or so.

I do have a high-end sound system. So instead of "weak cr@p", it sounds like "beefy sh*t" Yes, very throaty, and beefy, deep, dynamic and all that...but NOTHING like real aircraft. That's kinda the point of a simulator isn't it? Being as close to reality as possible.

I'll tell my boss that I'm just a placeholder for myself for a year or so, until that I'll only surf forums and facebook, but he has to pay me nonetheless
