Sounds, GUI design and textures were never a strength at Maddox Games.
But when even the FMs are botched/undermodeled like they are now(yes they are indeed when we compare them to 1946), and that's a serious attempt at expanding on what we saw in IL-2 1946, what was their real strong side again? FMs. And it WAS a strong side if the current CloD FMs are a serious attempt.

I really wonder on what facts you base your presumptions?

Please read: http://www.kurfurst.org/Tactical_tri...ls/Morgan.html

That's what I did when I compared them to the actual in-game characteristics, and so should you.

Facts enough for you, sceptic? Indicating that people presume when they in fact are not, is just rude and immature.

The original sound of cod is for me a very big disappointment.

I agree. In fact there are many points of this new release are a big disappointment for me.

Yesterday after having played CoD for a while I jumped back to my modded version of IL-2 and I am sad to say, that personally I think the modded IL-2 is many times better that CoD in most aspects.

Maybe they wont change the comment on the matter. Years ago, Oleg told us that the sounds where great, but only when using a high end sound system.
But one thing is clear: The old IL2 sounds does not sound like the original birds.

Guys, the whole simulation is a payware-placeholder for something being released sometime next year or so.

I do have a high-end sound system. So instead of "weak cr@p", it sounds like "beefy sh*t" Yes, very throaty, and beefy, deep, dynamic and all that...but NOTHING like real aircraft. That's kinda the point of a simulator isn't it? Being as close to reality as possible.

Bricks: LOL!
I'll tell my boss that I'm just a placeholder for myself for a year or so, until that I'll only surf forums and facebook, but he has to pay me nonetheless
