It isn't true that all the crew of a shot down plane will automatically escape, because members can die when the plane is under fire, or blows up before they can get out, and if the plane is too low down they won't be able to jump anyway.

Also many pilots did not escape the plane itself because of something called centrifugal force.

I was talking about ways crew members can die in-game, and I'm not sure centrifugal force is modelled to the extent that it can stop crew members bailing out.
