As Tom McGuire was mentioned earlier, it makes sense to remind his 3 rules about flying P-38:
- no combat at low altitude
- never let you speed to drop below 300 mph
- never keep your tanks in a fight
And yes, as stated above - well thought tactic is the best defence for this amazing plane.
