Mind you that stops my old favourite power dive at 110% MW50 engaged diving episodes that netted me several La-7s dead back in the early days of IL-2 Forgotten Battles. The La-7 used to be uber but it could never dive with a FW190D-9 running full out

That's the problem though, and that's how I burned the engine, running from a La-7. Sometimes you have to dive full out. Switching to manual pitch and setting to near 0 helps.
