joystick setup

Welcome to the forum!

From the main menu go to options ->controls .

At the top of the screen choose axes

you double click in the command column for the axis you want to set and a window will pop up. (be careful because if you move the mouse even slightly it will take that as the command.)
then move the joystick in the axis that you wish to set.

Aileron is the right/left motion
elevator is forward/ backward

If the joystick has a twist rudder set this up as for rudder.

Apply the settings and save your profile and it should work.

Under the keys page you can set up the fire machine guns/ drop bombs etc.
