running this game my gpu reaches 100ºC with no overclocking at all

My GTX580 gets to around 70 degrees in CloD giving me splendid FPS at high/very high settings... But it has good cooling and my chassis has good airflow etc.

But it's nice to hear that a rather modest card like that gives you good performance at least

Like others have said here - try cleaning up the card and improve airflow in the chassis.
