running this game my gpu reaches 100ºC with no overclocking at all

i get huge fps, 60 inside the plane and 80 outside

and thats the thing sometimes it goes 100º at 70 fps and other times it gets 80º at 25 fps

i made sure its not overclocked, the gpu is set to default

i think limiting the frames would solve it

any way to limit the frames?

Well, make some tea then!

I used Bandicam to quickly limit the framerate. Made the flight smoother, too.

Does anyone have some good CPU heatsink recipes?

Start by cleaning yor GPU from dust! No GPU feels good good at 100°!

Vsync could help maybe.... (as long as you don't have a monitor which is capable to run 100 Hz.)

Improve airflow in the case, i.e. additional fans.

Just increase the fan speed with a manual curve/graph .EVGA Precision or MSI Afterburner software allow you to do this .

My GTX580 gets to around 70 degrees in CloD giving me splendid FPS at high/very high settings... But it has good cooling and my chassis has good airflow etc.

But it's nice to hear that a rather modest card like that gives you good performance at least :)

Like others have said here - try cleaning up the card and improve airflow in the chassis.
