'Best' is different for everybody. There is no way to make one big pack of the best stuff because the best stuff is different for every single user.

But seriously, what is so hard about adding a modact? Nothing. What about downloading and dropping certain mods into said modact? Nothing.

How about adding a pack like DBW, HSFX, or UP? Nothing. It just boils down to how much your willing to put into reading/how lazy you are.
And when you've installed all those different mods you have to find a server that has enough players in it to make the mods worthwhile.... but so many mods and options have fragmented the online player base into splinters.

Then play stock.
Modact is primarily for offliners, end of story.

Really simple:
Online=HSFX/UP
Offline=DBW/Modact

Of course any can be used in whatever way you wish, but above are the packs and their target audiences.

Nothing would fragment the IL2 "Community" more than limiting it to the stock game. I dare say it would be long dead by now.

Point is there are options out there for any and everyone. Make an informed decision instead of just being lazy and bitching about why no one plays an ugly, cartoonish decade old game anymore.

I have and did...Have had mods installed since day one, still came over to CoD...from day one also

But I still see 46 as a bird with far too much make up on, yea sure she looks nice and you would do the deed but when you get down to the nitty gritty and take of the make up?

However..The newest Mods are sweet...I installed the gurners FX pack (think thats what it was called) and it has Sound bugs in it when in cockpit, its these things and ive had plenty of them that put me off it all.

Bird? Wearing makeup?
I just had a mental picture of bigbird dressed as a street walker.

If you understood the file layouts and mod folder layouts properly (and what impact the respective files have on the game) these issues are fairly easy to iron out at this stage of 1946 modding.
I just fired up my old 4.09 modded install, and everything is faultless.

Overmodding (installing say five effects mods on top of eachother) is what leads to small bugs.

It would be great to use this in HSFX 6.0, is anyone able to create a jgsme installer for HSFX 6 as I only see one for UP3?

Any help getting this into HSFX 6.0 would be greatly appreciated

Cheers, MP

just create a mods folder in your HSFX install, and drop the HSFX version of gurners mod in there.

If I recall correctly Gurners effects takes a bit more than the standard GSJME addition, you have to add other classfiles/folder to the mods folder. It works perfectly in my HSFX install, just no time to play it.

saw this over at SAS today, figured Id post it here.

Im not sure what you did or didnt do puma, since you didnt say anything other than it doesnt work, but heres what you need to do as far as I can tell from the instructions on the mods thread:

Put these in the mods folder

Put this in JSGME mods and activate
