I will purchase the sequel and think that the next official update will be important in terms of how well it addresses many of the issues that have undermined CloD - I would rather wait than have a sub standard release.

BS, Will the Yak make an appearance in BOM?

See?? I was right ... they keep with the vapor of "we finished this, we finished that" .... if you need to pack everything and then TEST again, well, you can´t be sure that you fixed everything isn´t it? .... i bet my house that when they test again, they will find some minor bugs and they will decide "in an afternoon reunion" that they want to work another ..... 3 or 6 months on it, but they can´t promise a date when the patch will be ready ....

Just one word .... IRRESPONSIBLE

Not that I particularly mind that the patch isn't out, yet, (I have enough other things to do, you know that thing called "real life" ) but I can't shake the impression that Luthier desperately needs to get out of the office and an injection of a healthy dose of reality. It smacks of that dreaded "locked up in one place for too long" syndrome which disconnects a person (or more) from what really goes on. And this endless collection of delays has the definitive stink of it ...

Calm down, folks!
It's Operation Barbarossa-day today...71 years ago today.

I suppose they are defending themselves today.

Ok, before things start going downhill, let me say a few things.

People have a right to be pleased or displeased.

However, if i see people deliberately ignoring the update information in order to speculate and start personal wars, or attacking other users for having a different opinion, this thread is going to see some heavy moderating.

In other words, express whatever opinion you want to express, but if it's not done politely expect the usual consequences as well.

They say they're done with coding and will start testing. Then we got some screenshots. That is the summary of the update and that is what we ask questions about in this thread and answer them if we can, or wait for B6 to do so. Anything else is off-topic and will be treated as such. If you still wish to discuss off-topic things, open a new thread and don't screw up this one. I'm not joking. Thanks for cooperating.

i think the devs should retreat back to modding. You might make a damn good mod for DCS if you get your cards in order. professional quality payware mod for dcs with standards dictated by another source. what better design remit could there be for a clearly struggling flightsimming development company seeking a product to full fill a communites appetite.

seriously, you might actually make some money over on that side of flightsimming in a more unique way, and i as a customer could be assured of the quality i desire. i realise this sounds offensive, it initially might have been but seriously its not. its actually a viable source for you guys to do somthing of great quality work with income. and it could prove to be more beneficial for your company name in general. the facts or reality is that not many around here are getting what they desire and it works both ways, un-desirable feedback is naturally un-desirable. surely those in the face of the feedback must want to change that. and thats simply enough said on that. so please dont take it as an insult, make your mark on the flightsimming world in another way. its just another idea. and to appease the situation somewhat i must say i cant think of a better developed mod in the ww2 realms as one from you guys. i actually believe that could be a fact. so whilst i may appear to be insulting your company. a group like yours could/should have many many options outwith your own monkey sphere (loosly termed).

You are going to get a sub standard release either way
