I have no reason to hate it and wish bad things upon it.

Magazines always give more positive reviews, no matter what the subject, why do people expect this to suddenly change for cliffs of dover.
My kitchen psychology senses make me thing that the reason for this ongoing rinse and repeat storm of tears is:

1) IL-2 was groundbreaking sim that lasted for years with a LOT of content
2) Clod was built and hyped up for several years which built up the expectations sky high
3) Delay after delay caused frustration, anxiety and even higher hopes for the release once the day finally comes
4) Once the release came it wasn't finished an polished but had major performance issues and limited content

--> Bubble suddenly bursted after years of expectation as the date of the release wasn't the simming nirvana that'll blow everyones' eyes out of sockets and turns the simming world around

--> The people with most expectations, least capability of handling disappointments and tendency for vendetta realized that it's payback time!

And now we're all enjoying fruits of that mental equation and I guess it doesn't matter how good the title would become with new patches etc as the disappointment broke some people's hearts. So they will not forgive and they will not forget.

I had a lot higher hopes too.. it's hard not to after all those years and I felt pretty dissapointed on the day of the release. Now the game is brought to an enjoyable state for me atleast. And probably at the first anniversary of CloD release we will be in the mark where we all hoped to be at the time of the release.

But hey.. I guess there isn't much I can do about that so I might as well sit tight and wait while taking my 109 for a spin every now and then.
