If you're going for a WW2 look, you'll need to compress the dynamic range. Try the curves or levels tool in photoshop.

Lancer- according to this link the picture was taken at 6.48pm on 7th October 1940.
http://ww2today.com/7th-september-19...tz-hits-london I've also seen it noted that it was taken at 5pm. I like your effort but it needs more shadow highlights to match the later time of day. |
