Tack så mycket!

BTW, the wingspan, shouldn't it be from horizontal line to horizontal line? Rather than from the line to the middle dot?

I don't know how it is in real life but as it is now: wingspan is between dot and horizontal line. Thats why you double to get between the two horizontal lines.

Edit: Vi borde lira lite coop nån gång. Alla som förstår får vara med.

Freycinet. I believe you are correct. From another thread, I saw that the COD MKII gunsight has either a bug or was incorrectly designed/coded... Thus the doubling of the range setting is a 'workaround' to have the correct size/image of the target aircraft at the desired Convergence distance (filling the space between the horizontal bars). So, until fixed in a patch, one would have to set the Sight Range dial at 400 yards if one had set Convergence at 200 yards.

And where in CoD do I set the convergence? Didn't find it neither in the FMB nor in the graphical interface.

Ah, Doolittle, that makes sense... I am still a bit confused about the settings, but try to keep the upper dial around 400 and the lower one at around 60 for bombers and 30 for fighters... I just made a new movie (my best and most dramatic so far, uploading now!) and the improvement in gun efficiency was palpable, so thanks Eklund!

Default bag the hun

don't forget you can download the RAF Gunnery manual Bag the Hun from Mission4Today/Guides and Tutorials/Gunnery section. It's RL so I don't know how COD's buggy sights measure up.

I appreciate it. I really just haven't had the time to get that indepth with the manual and sit down and step-by-step it out yet. I can only get on at certain times (damn rl job and the wing commander/wife) so I use that time to just zip around and shoot up Stukas and He-111s. This summer, however, I plan on spending alot of time and figuring it all out.

Gonna be practicing with that new info on the gunsight real soon though. Thanks for that little bit of info.
