Probably the best video we've seen so far.

Cheers!

SO this video must be the one Oleg was talking about few weeks ago...And waiting for Luthier to translate...SO probably still BETA

This is very impressive...The terrain detail and realism is perfect....
It seems that we haven't seen much of the REAL COD after all...
Oleg did keep the best for release....

SAlute !

Realism perfect? Ilya said this was on medium settings if I'm not mistaken... Individual bullet holes? It's the same scripted visual damage modeling we have in Il-2, ie. texture overlays, nothing new there. Have you even played IL-2 before?

This video reassures my about the DM... not joking.

I was afraid after the one with realistic gunnery off; they should not publish those things!

Iit is odd that they had continued to esteem these qualities over those of other fighters in spite of the fact that they were of only secondary importance tactically. Thus it is doubly ironic that the Spitfire’s reputation would habitually be established by reference to archaic, non-tactical criteria.

Well, if it is indeed in medium settings, and you look at the terrain in this video of the Beta version, with an average machine, I would say it is perfect ......Much much better that anything we have seen yet from COD developpement...
The same goes for everything you see in that video, including damage modeling...Go back to last Friday's video and you will see what level of damage detail we will get...Put every bits and pieces of information we've got so far togheter and you will get an idea of the magnitude of this game...
I just don't know if it is possible with current PC's horsepower to have every settings maxed up at a decent fps...

ps: what the hell is IL-2 ?

Salute !
