its would be idiotic to have the channel map out of MP, its been on the features all along, and you know il2, we have had this symplystic and arcadish maps from day 1 along side the big "real" maps. see you cross channel  |
Great. Terrain colours look spot on now. Lighting too.
A lot of interesting features shown - like the instruments only view. The Heinkel getting shot up and different damage effects are great. Also, nice to see the individual bullet holes when realistic gunnery is on. |
Excellent. Thanks for finding and posting.
Trees look great, colours are better. I think it would look better if the beach texture had a broad area of grass (or just green colour) at the land edge; before the fields and roads start. I am really looking forward to this game. It looks like it has been worth all the waiting. . |
Interesting Video, thx!
Just a question about the engine sound. IMO the spitfire engine sounds very much like the current fw 190 engine. We heard it before, but it would be interesting to know if it's a place holder or the final sound (btw how hold is this video?). Damage looks great. The .303 "feels" realistic. Some well aimed shots and the cooling system of the 109 is gone. The bomber can take a lot more. So, it feels very realistic to me. |
nice video but please tell me that this are not the original ingame- enginesounds o.O
|
Silly question: Will there be any sort of interaction between water and the shore line? We've not seen any that I can recal other than what was on the 1946 bonus disc.
