Niiice...I'd have talked a bit longer and more piteously and bagged a 1920x1200 one myself.

so will cod go much higher as standard or will it be the same as il2 and u have to mess with config.

Btw thanks for the replys
As posted before, even IL2 had higher settings available if you had the monitor supporting it.

However, these standard-settings were limited to 4:3.

If you have a 16:9 or 16:10 you're limited to the next lower resolution available in 4:3.

As others have stated, any resolution is possible, including spanning multiple monitors.

I have no doubt that CoD will offer even more options.

BTW: I can at least tell you, that IL2 looks great on 42" 1920x1080 (FullHD)

How did you get IL-2 to run at 1920x1080? I have a 22.5" 1920x1080 monitor and a geforce 560ti and the max resolution the program gives me is 1600x1200.

I play IL2 at 1920 x 1200. You must edit conf.ini in window block in your Il-2 root directory, which you can open in Notepad or similar. Do not forget to do backup of your original file.

[window]
width=1920
height=1200
ColourBits=32
DepthBits=24
StencilBits=8
ChangeScreenRes=1
FullScreen=1
DrawIfNotFocused=0
EnableResize=0
EnableClose=1
SaveAspect=0
Use3Renders=0

...of conf.ini in your Il-2 root directory, which you can open in Notepad or similar. Missing a rather important piece of information there, mcmatt.
