Ships using zigs and zags...
Ships pulling emergency manouvers doing attack... That would be a gigantic step forward from the "one liners" in IL2----> forwaaaartz....... lol ![]() |

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i think at some point we've seen a screenshot in the Friday updates showing a ship turning as it comes under attack by a Stuka.
As for subs and ships in general, i think it's been mentioned by the devs that the game engine can support water with actual depth instead of IL2-style generic water. |

I'm quite sure It's been said that you'll be able to see submarines under the surface if the water is clear enough and the light is right, and also that submerged objects will effect the surface of the water (I.E. sunken/ sinking ships, and submerging/ submerged subs).
We've already seen 100% more action going on with ships in that 2 seconds of video in the trailer than we've ever seen in IL2. Imagine when we've seen 5 seconds. Or 10.

I heard the fish have independent swim models but the cod and sturgeon are over-modeled.

I don't know, but i'm more excited about flying multi-engined aircraft this time around. I think it will be great fun in some future add-on to go on anti-shipping runs with Ju88Cs and Mosquitoes, or hunting subs with a Catalina
