15min?
I'm fine with 4.500, takes what, ~8min? What the heck are you doing up there anyway? You cant dive much more than 2000min because of the speed build-up. Sure, you could brake, but then; why go up so hight in the first place? BTT: I just downloaded all German Fighter Manuals of the 109/190 and could NOT find similar restrictions, at least not for an airplane while in air.

 A whole generation of pilots learned to treasure the Spitfire for its delightful response to aerobatic manoeuvres and its handiness as a dogfighter. Iit is odd that they had continued to esteem these qualities over those of other fighters in spite of the fact that they were of only secondary importance tactically.Thus it is doubly ironic that the Spitfire’s reputation would habitually be established by reference to archaic, non-tactical criteria.
