Well i have a real blooper for ya!

I have just now realised that you can use your "hero" as a pilot too.... I thought you needed him to pilot the mothership..... I am so stupid sometimes.

When playing Star Wolves 2 ( after the very linear SW1 ) I kept getting these jobs and next part of missions and thinking "how in heck am I supposed to know where that 'named' system is? I only started playing an hour ago. It was a while before I realised that there was a global map

Not exactly. I don't think there is a trainer. When I saw the guy's post saying 'teach me' I thought I'd just start up a new game, fire up the hex editor and edit the money address, just to tease him

As for the Hookah lounge. The guys who made this really don't have a very westernised understanding of the language. Sure they know the words but not proper usage.
It's a very bad translation job on all 3 games.
I'm surprised they did not ask for help with the dialogue translation. There must be educated fans who would be happy to peruse what they come up with and then rewrite it so that it's more in line with Western English.
Ah well, never mind. It is what it is.

Not that the station name is an example of bad translation. It's just probably a dev's idea of a little smoke joke. It just made me think of the language and I'd meant to mention it when I registered.

I've only had one guy die due to collision, that was when I had some fighters escorting the mothership, I docked at a station, and somehow that guy got lodged in a tight space so when the mothership left he got stuck and blew up -_-"

My best WTF moment was when I docked my missile specialist in the midst of a heated engagement to reload ammo, then as soon as he launched I gave him a target and activated salvo. Naturally, he fired... even though the line of fire went right through the mothership. /facepalm

Seems like the AI isn't particularly picky about whether anyone (even himself!) is in the blast radius; I've seen them launch goddamn torpedoes at point blank range. In fact most of my OHSHIT moments are due to missile mishaps. It's like whenever the game triggers that "Player armor is lower than 50%" pause warning and I see everyone else is at full shields, it's most likely some dumbass fired a missile too close.

Talking

"What's that trader doing by the enemy headquarters? Neutral, my ass - it must be one of their suppliers! Kill him!"

*sound of multiple torpedo launches*

...oops.
