Default Why this game is so lackluster? :(

Oh no, I hope this isn't completely true but... I heard a rumor that Katauri is not really the developer for this game.

That does sort of explain a lot.

In fact, it is co-done by 1C-SoftClub/Katauri Interactive.

Compare that to Katauri Interactive who did Armored Princess.

That would possibly mean budget shifts, human resource shifts, and different management/priorities.

Can I still buy a DRM-free Armored Princess somewhere before it turns into a long lost classic?

I checked the other day and did not see it in mine. Why don't any reputable online retailers seem to sell it?

I was browsing some good old turn-based games to see what I missed, and I noticed that Strategy First had all the KB’s.

On the side note I’m tempted to buy X-COM now

They do offer a "disc backup", but it doesn't indicate if that means they are DRM free or not.

Have you bought from them before? Do you know if that is the case?

Nothing in the recent history, I bought some games but that was way before steam, beamdog etc. Now most gaming purchases I do is thru steam.

I might go for Ascension to the Throne with them thou.
