okay so it increases the duration of stuff like slow/haste? right?
and it increases the power of non-combat spells? what? like wanderer scrolls? or do they mean stuff like demon portal and permafrost like in crossworlds? |

As i figured out, it give boost to nondmg spells : stone skin , divine armor, mana spring , summoning spells phantom/demon portal and such. I guess all buff and non offensive spells get some benefit from it.

When I look at my Book of Evil spell it directly tells me what bonus I'm getting from creation. I'm not sure if it does that on other spells, but that one shows me right in the info.

well then the description is a bug, in that that's not what it says, and it's an error in translation, it's like they just used google translate and didn't have anyone who actually spoke both languages!
combat should be offensive word swap? someone should start some sort of github open editing fan re-translation project or something? that is if anyone knows how to easily extract and replace the text files of the game? or are those too confusingly spread out/encrypted? |

Actually, I only made a minor tweak to that effect based off a typo in the language. Now that I've had more use with it, I think i'll give it a better pass to specify more what it effects. Also I see now it has a second typo too, grr!

wow creation is CRAZY powerful! not only does it effect things like stoneskin and call of nature, just like the related ability in kb:cw/ap did but.... sheep? yep! level one sheep gets doubled the duration at rank3, nuts! also all similar abilities! level 3 slow lasts forever and shuts a unit down hard! nifty

It increases duration and power (where applicable) of every non-combat spell (i.e. spells that are not direct damage spells), afaik. Additionally, it increases the power of quite a few unit abilities or stats (all summoning stuff, I think). So yes, it is crazy powerful and gives a huge boost to the short-lived (de)buffs.
edit: I just realized that it extends Phantom for two more turns as well... because that spell clearly wasn't powerful enough before. (I got it on Merlassar, so did not notice this before) Last edited by Xargon; 11-11-2012 at 12:21 PM. |
