Bare metal/chipped paint

Is it somnehow possible to modify the skin so that the metallic looking and reflective bare metal becomes visible at those places? And if yes - how?

That's what's missing in Cliffs of dover.. I love the worn out paint look .The ratier the better.I want to see a really dirty paint worn well weathered BF109 with the Swastika on the tail ..
