can anyone recommend a very good gaming headset?

I was thinking of going with new speakers, but thought I'd investigate the state of gaming headsets (with boom mic). What's a good set for game immersion, and btw, how immersive is CLOD with a gaming headset?

I use a Logitech g930 and its awesome
Sound is very good and in wireless mode i can play 7-8 hours before loading.
And while loading you can use it as a normal wired headset

The microphone is on the side and automatically on when you turn it down to the mouth and muted when you turn it back and you can see the stat with a red led if its muted.its a cool feature when you sudden want to mute just turn it up.

My mates on other games said that they hear my good and clear.

Sure the logitech is a good headset , you wont go wrong with the sirberia from steelseries also .
