Strange Keymapper Bug

When I try and map keyboard keys in the keymapper all my letter keys show up as numbers making it impossibe to use the keymapper.
My keyboard works fine in microsoft word and every other thing I tried it in after I discovered this problem.
I never had a problem with it in the keymapper prior to the latest patch.
