Been reading about scams in online directories and it's making me rethink using them at all. Had a close call where someone asked for a "verification deposit" via gift card – red flag city, thankfully I stopped there. What are the biggest scam signs you watch for in these platforms? Fake profiles, payment tricks, or other patterns? Share your red flags so we can all stay safer when browsing and contacting.

Scams are out there, but once you know the patterns it's easier to avoid them. Biggest red flags for me: anyone demanding money upfront (deposits, travel fees, etc.) – legit directories never require that early. Also watch for profiles with stolen/stock photos (reverse image search helps), overly generic messages, or pressure to move off-platform fast. I stick to allescorts directiry options like because they seem to filter better and have user feedback signals. Never use gift cards, crypto without verification, or shady apps. If they dodge simple questions or get aggressive, block and report. Cross-checking availability status and recent activity weeds out a lot too. Been scam-free for a while now just by following these basics.
