In Strike they can be a good option if you have a good number of players in different types of aircraft. However most games tend to have one or two heavy bombers such as the He111, and the rest as escorts such as 109's or spits. In that type of game the 110 can be outdone easily.

Im not averse to the G model being added, Im all for more aircraft. My only concern is that there should be some Allied heavy fighters so that they have an even match up, and thereby a fair crack at game.

I agree. I played one game a few nights ago with 5 B17s. My Bf 110 and I had a great time... 0 deaths and 6 kills if I recall correctly. I was smoking pretty bad when the game ended though (an enemy spitfire I think).

I think the Bf 110 is one of those planes that is generally overlooked by most people. Everyone sees its flaws but few see it's charms, ie. the massive accurate firepower on an extremely stable aiming platform. Up-ing the armament possibilities or variants for the 110 would make it more popular I think. Just look how many 109's you see in games- a testament to the nifty unlocks and the large number of variants.

As for allied heavy fighters... the P-38 will be added i'm sure... as will the Mosquito hopefully... as for others who knows. Maybe another type of Bristol or a Beaufighter?

Im hoping for the Mozzy in the DLC pack. Mozzy v 110 would be a great match up for a team battle imo.

And a nice pair of bristols is always a welcome sight.

indeed. it "played a major part in the night battles over the Reich in the final years of the war" (quoting the book, Fighting Aircraft of WW2)

if a weapons layout with bombs or rockets were added as DLC, it would be more useful (bombs more so that the rockets)

but the tables would really be turned if a level with an emphasis on night-fighters was added. pitch black, guided only by blips on the radar, now that would be intense! (of course, they would have to make it so that you could only target other planes if you were aiming at them, otherwise people would just fly in circles and mash the target button until they found somebody, which would kind of ruin the experience.....)

The Me110 is my favorite aircraft too. I was a bit crestfallen when I first unlocked it and thought I'd have some fun in training and nail a couple of Blenheims for target practice and got the snot shot of out of me... even when attacking from astern and below.

I'd be stoked if they did a cockpit, and agree the 410 would be a nice addition. Heinkel 219 Uhu would be nice too!

I was teamed up with a 110 last night in a dogfight v 2 109s

it was downed 7 times for no reply from it...

one of the most context sensitive planes in the game...

best avoided

Hey Tiwatz, back to your OP, how do you think they'd work out the aiming of the schrage musik cannons? And yes, some more support for this bird would be nice. As my PSN ID says...
