Me 110

how come there is so little love for the Me 110? Nobody seems to like flying it but me. It makes a great anti-bomber aircraft... Hey devs, I could use a couple bombs or something on the me 110 too... it made a great ground attack plane. Perhaps a couple 30mm cannon in a G model... or maybe a 'Jass Music'... those of you who know anything about Bf 110s and a few other aircraft of the luftwaffe- then you know what a Schrage Musik is...

Because it's inferior to other planes in every single way. Cannons are not amazing, manouvreability is awful, speed and acceleration are low, etc. etc. You get the point.

really?

I'm sorry, maybe you just don't know how to use it.... I seem to do pretty well, just ask the 43 pilots I've shot down on multiplayer while flying the 110. Those "not amazing" cannons work pretty nicely for taking off wings.

You actually keep count of the players you shot down? GJ.
Well, I've flown it, admittedly just twice, against bombers and fighters, and maybe you're right and I'm not using it well, but as far as I could tell there was no reason whatsoever to take the 110 instead of another plane.
What difficulty/mode?

I've actually never flown it. Like Seraph, I just assumed it would be no match for other planes. But that's cool if it works well for you. Just out of curiosity, mind sharing some tactics on how you did so well with it?

He is right in some respects... it really can't dogfight more than 3 spitfires with any hope of survival... Even fighting one is hard- but possible. The best way to use it is as a high altitude interceptor in the anti-bomber roll. Stay at high altitude and dive on your target with one accurate pass you can usually get a kill every time (if you practice first). With that dive you usually have enough speed to outrun anyone who tries to chase you.

yes... I've only flown a few planes- usually the harder to fly ones. I really don't have much choice but to fly on Arcade mode online- nobody else flies Sim mode. The real reason I keep track of how many people I shoot down online is that there is no other way to know how close you are to unlocking things with out doing it- there is no other scorecard but the leaderboards- and they suck.

I hope the Devs add a cockpit for the Bf-110. That would be super sweet!!

Ive flown the 110 and I wasnt impressed at all. In sim mode its OK if you stick to a particular role (eg bomber attacker) but in every other mode its a dead duck. It handles worse than an IL, and has lesser armaments than it to.

Indeed.
