I have the 360 demo and there is head shake/ g effects on the camera in that. Why would they take it out of the final version? Maybe I wasnt making it clear. I need to know if the camera is fixed in the internal cockpit view or if it drifts around all woolly and lagging behind the plane movement.

I haven't noticed any head shake in the full version. If it's there it sure doesn't stand out.

So if you are flying straight and then pull up, then everything stays in the same place on the screen and the cockpit doesnt move up a bit to simulate head movement in the final version?

I notice it coming out of a stall etc. But I think it's a) useful, and b) pretty realistic. I'd like to see someone keep their head still with those sort of G's being thrown around! lol

I'm pretty sure if you're moving your head with the stick, it cancels out the effects.

I wish Red/Black outs were more prominent. We're like super humans - we can out manoeuvre a fighter plane. We would be rubbish test pilots!

I accept that your head moves with g force. As a Pilot myself I can assure you that your eyes dont and your brain compensates for your head movement making it feel like you are totally fixed in position. I find the demo so difficult as the plane cockpit floats around totally out of relation to my position in it. I also prefer this in racing sims and generally end up using bonnet cam due to the glut of developers who think that swinging your head around in some way simulates the feeling of g effects. Try it. Look at a fixed object then tilt your head, notice how it still appears straight and fixed...
