this would be only for the simulation difficulty. Sim Gamers like me would love to have very complex controls letting them control each part of the plane that a real pilot would be able to control.

It's totally worth the memorization. Getting to control all parts of your airplane will make it more fun and you get to customize the settings to your liking.

A second controller signed in for the "auxillary" controls? It'd work for joypad or stick users (who wouldnt even need a second pad).
