I remember becoming a triple ace in a couple of sortie's on '46. I usually did, and still do (at least with the bombers) what the German night fighters would do while chasing the British bombers: Follow under the bomber, and follow its moves, firing at the engines and other vital parts, but only squeezing off small bursts. And with the fighters, I always wait till I have a clean shot at either the engine or cockpit.

But when I get the actual BoP, I'll have limited ammunition as well. On any level I play.

Even with limited ammo, 5 kills (esp with cannon equipped fighters) was easily attained before running out in IL2 '46.
