Why Evil Beholders are immune to Magic Shackles?

Lol you read in my mind that was exactly for this battle I wanted use mass magic shackle and get stumped!

Well I proceed differently than my initial plan with:

• Soul Drain on Evil Beholders + Mass Schakles
• On left Cursed Ghost + Stone Skin + Archmage Shield.
• On right Royal Snake attacking the Evil beholders.
• Dryad casting Sleep to lower total enemy attack.
• Polar Bear Guarding Dryad and Archmage on back.
• At second turn Target on Cursed Ghost + Time Back on Royal Snakes before end of round.

That is very dependent of emplacements of each stacks and of the spells used by the enemy hero. But also of skills available, items and units used.

I made a snapshot during this battle because it was very funny that unlike you can think the target isn't the Royal Snakes but the Cursed Ghost.
