Hmm, only one public...
Reviewers have played both.
I'm guessing SP will be the one so people can learn to fly. Can't do that so well in MP.

maybe the demo has both singleplayer and multiplayer?

Nope.
Only one.
Guys, it is DEMO. Not free game, or limited time trial of the full game. It should work like teaser.

because thats a more important selling point than singleplayer

I've provide reasons for both demos in some thread.
MP is for Flightsim lovers and community.
SP is for broad audience, casual players.

I'm glad we get a demo at all, and personally I rather have SP demo! Demo a few weeks before release I think Anton said!

SP gives people time to learn to fly the plane. If all you have is MP then you won't ever get that chance and people will just get frustrated.

Personally i would release the single player - reduces the amount of cheapass people who just play it over and over instead of buying the full game.

See Battlestations: Midway for a classic example of a business killing demo.

Yeah, it's cruel world.
But releasing 2 demos is providing too much of the game for free.
The business is selling game, not giving it.
