Is it possible to reach the top level?

You can hit 31 on easy, because it's only 500k XP to get there. In addition to that, 31 is the absolute max. If you hit 31 and fight, you won't get any more experience, since you've reached the cap. I did a few more suppressions of the treatise just to make sure of that.

I was well aware that some people would jump at me for exploiting a bug. I did it for fun, bordering with insanity and stupidity. I still like what happened.

Vilk, with all due respect mate - max level is 31. The game says so. The fact that you can't hit it even if you clean up the entire map on normal, hard or impossible is irrelevant.

Sadly, you cannot gain over 30 level with the spirits of rage either. I am playing now with the paladin on impossible. My hero has almost 27 lvl on Demonis (I have to kill Baal, I've already defeated Xeona), day 14. All I want to say is Lina and The Reaper have 30 lvl. The combination Rage draining-Gizmo was very effective, imagine 3 gizmo's on the battlefield at the same time, each one doing 1000-2000 points damage. Lina could reach at least 32 lvl.

Maybe 1C took a point and that's why they made the dragon in KBAP (same as the spirits of rage) to level up to 50 at first (you character can get up to 60) and then with patch 1.0.1 or 1.0.2 made it level up to 60 as well. That way you don't get to use lower level helper skills that would do little or no harm to the enemy.

even with rina giving (i believe +20% extra exp)
the treatise item for anohter +10%
and your learning skill and maybe keeper of light

wouldn't even give u level 31 on impossible
just too few fights

Well ok I didn't quote you couldn't get any xp over 31, that said, I see it in another way, can I?

In my point of view it's not possible to reach level 31 without cheating so 31 is limit with cheating, 30 is limit without cheating.

You also mention it's possible to reach level 31 in easy mode but have you tried? I didn't quote any result mentioning it.

Well, I didn't, but looking at the xp from normal, on paper it seems possible. I doubt anyone ever played the game on easy, though... I would, if there was a "quick battle" button (since the enemy strength is greatly reduced), otherwise it's just not worth the waste of time. If anyone's willing to do all quests, kill absolutely all enemies on the map, get absolutely all treasures and such... he can feel free to try. Oh, and get the learning upgrade at char lvl 1 because of the extra runes

I may be wrong though. I'm not dismissing that possibility at all, don't get me wrong

Isn't the amount of enemies also reduced so thus... They said it was done so you'd be same level as you go through game no matter what difficulty you were in. It might require less XP but you also get that percent less XP as you play... Just a thought...

Yes that is how is working normal vs hard, levels requires less xp but you gain less xp and in both level 31 seems not possible without cheating or exploiting a bug.

But as soon as nobody tried in easy and quote the result, it's impossible to guess the possible final result.

It is again impossible. I dedicated a real life day trying to hit 31 on easy with the proper equipment. Vilk was right.

However, everyone seems to be branding or labeling me and pretty much calling me a cheater here. I guess that's how life goes - you point out a bug that is easy to exploit and even prove how far it may go and everyone jumps at you. Very well. All I can say is that I'm really sorry I made that post, that topic, etc. Refraining from doing that would have saved a lot of people pointess bragging, analyzing, posting. etc. I'll try not to make the same mistake in the future in this forum.

I apologize, cheater wasn't what I meant, you clearly wasn't one because you always clearly stated you had exploited a bug to reach level 31. At reverse that little story show how honest you are.

I don't know which word would fit I just wanted point, like you did yourself, that it wasn't with standard play you could reach level 31. Very sorry for my erroneous word usage.
