Nice to see something, so he is not happy with the name? If I read babelfish right?
Publisher in the west is still the same?
And he does not want to redo website should they change name...
Anyone fluent in Russian feel free to correct me.
Two years in production and this is the sensitive/secret year (assuming he is indication very far down the road in development, critical year) He also mention engine is complete? Am I correct in my interpretation?
best update I have read so far thanks Sokol1

Thanks Sokol1!

He seems to be indicating a release for the 70th aniversary of the Battle of Britain - have I understood that correctly?

Is this the section it pertains to?

Message from Oleg Madoks/Maddox

1. Sozadnie new skeletal animation, and modern characters (of pilots, soldiers, animals), is relevant for use in the aircraft simulator, starting from 2010 onwards a number of years. Until this moment we have a code for skeletal animation, but with this moenta it was to take shape, as it should be in the release.Previously, the time to do certain things - could happen at a loss. Moeltki would be irrelevant to moent release product compared to others ..
2Creating a new modern 3D animated effects explosions, etc. (more than 600 items)
3.Dodelyvanie complex multi-layer textures of land and unique objects

This is not all!

Is he saying that skeletal animations of pilots etc (by "Sozadnie"?) are being worked on, but not high priority? If it takes too long they will leave it, as they may over run development budget? I hope so! It sounds that way to me, unless I have misinterpreted. Its a flight sim, new more complex skeletal animations would be great, but we could live without it in first release surely? Getting quite excited about the new 3d explosions etc, can't wait to see them

This page has a comment by Oleg:

http://translate.google.com/translat...om#post1236915

You can find all posts by Oleg by firstly clicking on his name to the left of the post, then clicking 'Статистика', the second tab on his profile, and then clicking 'Find all posts by Oleg Medoks / Oleg Maddox'.

I tried to link directly to all his posts, translated, but it didn't seem to work. Let me know if the instructions don't work for you.

Shame he won't post here

Edit:: Do understand that you'll be reading Google's automatic translation and NOT Oleg's own words, in his native language. There's plenty of room for misunderstandings.

Yep it looks like they are heading for a 2010 release, god knows what Oleg was thinking when he said he hoped for a September 2009 release, or indeed a dedicated website finished in December 2008 and system specs in May!! Still its better than no release and i wont be eating Feurefalkes pants and i win my release date predication. Jackpot!!

That would explain the silance, they are no where near finished. And why all we get once "uppdates" arrive is bluescreen shots, they haven got anythingelse to show.

Makes sence.
