funny way to kill the turtle:P

i havent tried the last hero tactic yet, but was doing it w/ my standard army (3 ranged, gryphon up close, and priests for healing gryphons). the turtle never seemed to just target the gryphons even tho they were right in his face. instead he kept doing an AOE stomp that kept decimating all my units at once. how did you keep him focused on just one unit?
