Just to clarify, you found that it did not decrease after two item upgrade/suppression battles, correct?

If that is what you meant by gremlin battles, then the reason for it is that those fights don't count the same as ordinary battles. I don't think, for example, that they have any effect on item morale, or on x for items that give an extra bonus after x victories.

Oh, and I have found at least two instances where Gamebanshee's information is wrong, so I wouldn't put full trust in any info on that site.
