HYLFIRE: New huge mod for WoTN - Ice'n Fire

the mod is working and it's virus free.i started on impossible and the challenge is real it s a fun mod.
PS. it's not mandatory to have steam version of the game ,any version will do.

In our tests there were only a few crashes. A lot less than the normal game - we have fixed a lot of the bugs. Often crashes can be avoided by running anti-spamware software and updating graphic card. Let us know how your game goes regarding crashes, Eucrysty.

for the moment i`m still in first island and 0 crashes , but in wotn usually crashes were at middle of the game.i ll post again as soon as i progress in game.impossible mage is really a chalenge

well i reached the battle with Uladar Maritarius and there is no chance to beat him because of the unbalanced skill system.i`m level 4 and only bad skills were rewarded for gaining level.i attached 2 screenshots.you need to work at skills system because it s not doable , at least on impossible level . and i finished with all classes wotn on impossible.I destroyed all the avaialable enemies on the island so i only have Uladar now.

I understand your frustration. We made it harder with Uladar, but you can get out and sail before beating him in our mod. I have never been able to beet Uldar before sailing even on Hard... There is a boat next to the starting Castle - you can beet the enemies guarding the boat as level 4. We have done that even without skills.
In a normal Hylfire game, I often beat him as level 7-8 or so. As level 4 it is impossible!

yes . i missed the boat , thanks for tip , now i`m on the second island kiting and collecting goodies , in the last battles i had luck to be rewarded with 1000 gold x hero lvl and 2000 gold x hero lvl so i managed to recover + transformed 13 thorn warriors into 2 royal thorn . still no crash until now .

Looks like you have had luck with skills, Higher Magic already, and Transmute. It can happen early, but is very rare, there are about half chance to get the skills from the lowest row than from the first row - like Mediation, Rage Control etc.

Did you put gold in the Guild? You need it for Greenwort!!
BTW then Christa is placed randomly on one of four possible locations on Vestlig... King Hauck gives you a quest for her (a Hylfire quest, it was not in the normal game).
