Even in the darkest 4.10 night you can spot planes from multiple kilometers.

I read reports from german night fighters, sometimes the enemy became visible only at about 200m. Realism should be the first priority.

I mean the darkness is the whole point about the nights, isn't it? When you want to see, fly during day.

Night is as dark as the moon allows it to be.

On FB when tracking lights first appeared, dark was dark. And it was ok.

If you wanted to land, you needed the landing strips to be lit, or you won't find your base at all.

AA atillery was your best reference, so you keep near them just to spot the enemy.

Those were some missions!
