Defiant Defiant. (It makes sense).

The Defiant was conceived at a time when it was anticipated that France would not be defeated.

The Defiant was designed to attack unescorted German bombers. Flying from Germany, the 109 could not in theory have been an escort.

High Altitude Blenheims.

The Blenheim was fast in 1936. But slow in 1940. The world changes so fast.

October 2th 1940, 8./JG 53 in a dogfight with No 603 Squadron Spitfires.

Bf 109E-4 (5374, Black "4") crashed at Sutherland Avenue, Biggin Hill during combat over London 10.00 a.m. Oblt Stronk killed. RIP.
