Sorry to bring a thread back from the dead, I recently re installed IL2, updated to 4.12.2m and installed Jivers sound mod.
It says the engine sounds are Jafas, I must say, I had every single Jafa mod I had 4.09 + HSFX 5.1. These sounds are not Jafas engine sounds. I tested the Merlin, Griffon, Sabre, DB600s, and Jumos. None sounded like the original Jafa sounds. I installed then as per instructed, just took the contents from inside them 2 zipped folders and installed them into the my preset and my samples in the main IL2 directory. This is how the Sabre is supposed to sound, sounds nothing like this in the Jivers mod, did he modify Jafa's sounds at all?
