Is that the same museum that has the 'Shuttleworth Collection'?
We went there on a school trip when I was at school. At the time I think it only/mainly had biplanes. Very nice they were though, and it was a great trip. I'm sure a lot has changed since then though (1970s). I ended up taking home with me a 1/28 scale Revell Spad XIII, which I had enormous fun building. Cheers

A couple of days ago I spotted these two Hurricanes on the airfield.
The Hurricane on the ground is from the Duxford museum a few miles away. The Hurricane overhead is the resident Hurricane at Shuttleworth. Later that day day, both flew as a pair around the airfield at low level. A joy to behold ![]() ![]() Best Regards, MB_Avro |
