Spawns Disappearing

Do the bases themselves disappear from the map, or do they just no longer
appear on the map when you come to selecting a spawn base?

I have recently come across this problem on the mod version IL2.
The bases are still on the map if you click on the right place, but there are no icons displayed to show the location of the base.

There are several people that have reported having this problem online.
