chapter 4:stronghold-electrical barrier

can somebody tell me how to close the electrical barrier in chapter 4 (stronghold) ?

Do you mean the one that's in a fortress with randomly opening door? If this is the case, you need to go up the stairs in one of the buildings, then over a small bridge to the next room where there is a lever. Pull it and voilá.

Anyway - just follow the compass, it'll lead you there.
