I also realized that the CHARGES are much more of fun - like mini in-game, where you have to get the charges before the enemy "takes" them (they dissapear when enemy steps on them.

Also- Should I attack/use ability? Or rather collect the spheres. (And I realize how much fun it is to choose collecting spheres, prolonging the battle also risking that enemy will use my greed against me via vicious counter-strike)

Mostly I even don't need so desperately the ammount of mana/rage, but I need the fun of collecting the spheres ... when I count in the random chests... each battle is much funnier

I agree 100%!!

P.S. What is your (enemy) unit of choice when you are harvesting rage/mana? So far, I love Alchemist the most. Whenever I can, I leave 1-2 alchemists alive, block them in a corner with one of my strong (high hitpoints) stack, and proceed with casting Mana Spring, poison cloud etc. The Alchemist has a short-range attack (cannot harm my weaker rangers on the other end of the battlefield, have a fair amount of HP themeselves (low risk of dying by accident etc. All in all, I love them for harvesting mana

You know, we may need to seek professional help, you and me

Alchemists are good choice, normal shooters have the problem of easy/fast dying... melee units are hard to "leave in corner"

Of course I am not such great strategyst to be able to control enemy units, that is why I am under such stress (and enjoy adrenaline) while I have to use my units for "collect and return - FEDEX" instead of solid fight

If you use invisible single stack strategy, you will get plenty of time to pick up the charges scattered around the map.

Both Reaper and Lina dominate the late game pretty much.

If you check your dictionary under 'Cheap Strategies', you will find my picture there.
The invisibility trick is too cheap even for me

Not that my latest game worths to mention, the final statistic makes me laugh. The Ice Orb actually ranks second in terms of damage dealing in my list of armies.
