Violetta is in the Valley of Thousand Rivers.
Kitano is on the beach in Greenwort (the area where you start the game, where King Mark's castle is). The Book of Death can be found in the elven lands, namely in the Magic Forest and the Great Forest (if those are the right names, I forget).
