I think points 2 and 3, they are pure random. my level 3 pal found 9 might in the capital.

in addition, it's easy to find own type of high level magic in the beginning of game. For example, pal will find the resurrection(order magic) in the beginning.

Paladin doesn't actually find it but has it in his inventory at start.

Classes also have different inventory slots.

I never started with the resurrection scroll as a Paladin. I got bless and healing.

Hard to believe - I wodner what the DEVs can say tho this - I have ENG 1.6b7 version and I always start with ressurection as paladin - I played the DEMO at least 20 times for paladin only (I liked it very much
