Default Drinking the antidote...

The antidote you get from Irwin on Merlassar to cure Ele Taera in the spider cave is a quest item you can Use. It supposedly gives you +2% Poison resistance.

If I drink (Use) the antidote, I break my game. After drinking it, any battle I have afterward appears to advance the Monster Hunting quest one step as if I'd slain the latest target given by Van Tallinn. He shows up, talks, gives me a reward, etc. Inventory starts to fill up with crowns. The actual quest does not advance, and the creatures are still there to be slain.

Might be a bug unique to my save, but just in case, SAVE YOUR GAME before drinking the juice, and test things with a combat (upgrading an item works).

I confirm the bug: I used the antidote and from that point on Van Tallin was offering me the crown again and again - I think that I have almost forty of them in my inventory by now...
I don't have a save game and it is becoming tiresome to accept the reward again and again after EVERY battle - I will stop playing until a new patch comes out...
