Messerschmitt Bf 109 E-1 Stab JG1 Kommodore Karl Schumacher he was credited with shooting down a RAF Wellington into the Sea 10km N Spiekerooge German Blight Monday, December 18, 1939. The profile shows a Black Prop but photo's show a white prop. anyway choice is yours have fun. Matthew PS Additional Info: Monday, December 18, 1939 the RAF lost 12 Wellintons on a Reconnaissance mission such a stupid waste of men and materials. RAF 9 Sqn lost 5, RAF 37 Sqn lost 5, RAF 149 Sqn lost 2. On Wednesday, December 27, 1939 the RAF lost two Blenheim's one from 18Sqn and another from 107 Sqn I believe that it was the RAF 107 Sqn aircraft as it was reported crasing off the Island of Wanerooge. Lost Blenheim MkIV RAF OM- L8779 during a Reconnaissance mission. Take-off was from Wattisham and was on a Reconnaissance mission to Wilhelmshaven, Jade and Schilling Roads. The crew where P/O K Laxton Sqt W Anderson and LAC T V Lewis all KIA. On 8 November, 1941, he mistakenly shot down a Finnish De Havilland Dragon ambulance plane, thinking it an SB, and was removed from command. Saw this photo and realized it was a half reasonable photo of Douglas Pitcairn aircraft before his crash. Have had to make a few assumptions on this but until a better photo surfaces your guess is as good as mine as they would say.

Hi Guys last one for the day.
Bf 109 E-3 Stab JG52 Chevron Red 2 flown by Hermann Neuhoff WNr 878 Germany Oct 1939. The book profile has this as a E-1 but with the gun sticking out I've decided to put it as a E-3. They also have this as only one upper colour RLM 70 and RLM 65 underneath. Anyway have fun flying this puppy. Matthew PS thanks Larry I'm also a big fan of some of your screenies so have fun with these. Pass the word to the boy's at ATAG for me. Last edited by acred99; 01-08-2014 at 02:09 PM. |

Hi Guys
Spent all day on these puppies your guys will love Bf 109E1 2./JG77 (Red 1+o) Hannes Trautloft Germany 1939 it took me a while to get the strips and props all lined up but I'm really proud of this one. You guys will love it. Anyway starting with the first staffel. Did two versions of White 15 because the photo shows a Black Prop. Matthew www.asisbiz.com |

This is a beauty.
COD asisbiz Bf 109E1 2.JG77 (Red 1+o) Hannes Trautloft Germany 1939 RLM70 65 Had to do a couple of versions because one source states it's only one upper colour RLM 70 with Yellow Guns yet Eduard models has it as RLM 70-71 with grey gun's. The photo it's hard to work it out who's right. Hence a couple of versions so you can be the best to judge. But I expect some serious praise on this one. Have fun guys.
