My first flight was a 1 v 1 in the QMB with me in a Hawk 75 A3 in French livery, vs. a Bf 109 E4. It was a very interesting fight. Subjectively the Hawk does not appear to be very fast if you just fly it straight and level, but, it is a VERY dynamic airframe in the combat mode. It's high roll rate (historical) gives you many options, and add the fact that it turns quite well indeed and can be dived well and it is a very satisfying plane to fight in. I managed to get a good defection shot on the 109's radiators, and it was all downhill for him after that.

Sometimes it's appear to be normal, but sometime not. Can you clarify something that you changed to have that???

thx

The [Tab] commands menu has been changed slightly. For example, when calling for immediate help, it's now "[Tab] - 8" instead of "[Tab] - 7". There are a few other changes to the menu, too.

This will undoubtedly catch out those who had keystrokes memorized and could just scythe through multiple layers of the commands menu without looking at it. It's a minor issue, though, and not a problem that a few flights and memorization can't fix.

Hi Tolwyn! Yes, I noticed that too, but unmodded installs are always quicker to load than modded so whether it's any quicker than stock 4.11.1 I wouldn't be able to tell you....

Can't agree with you here mate - I think the darkness is spot on given that it was reported in a host of veterans stories that some nights you couldn't see a damn thing, horizon or otherwise. In some situations it might even be too light still in game IMHO but that's just my two cents.

I agree. Night flying in this game is as tricky as it ought to be. If anything, it sometimes isn't dark enough as you can almost always see a bit of sunlight glowing past the horizon, no matter how late it is.

Clear, full moon nights is another matter, however...

I should have been more careful.
The Dark is okay... BUT EVERYTHING is dark across the board. It's like they put up this large black graphic and just turned down the opacity of it. The PIT, with lights on, should be much brighter. The OUTSIDE part is okay. But the method by which they MAKE it dark (the "trick" they use) seems off to me.

Yeah, but I have the reflex to click TAB-8 to call airfield, but instead of that, I call for help (even if I'm trying to land) lol.
