Don't have a paypal account.. and not sure i trust it as i recall once being told i had an account there without ever starting one there.. or was that ebay now that i think about it ?

It doesnt Take too long to make an acount with Paypal. I was a bit sceptic in the beginning also but they are ok IMO (and many friends i know use them also). U do have to call ur credit card company to confirm the acount though.

Well if i am going to call the bank i might as well get a card that might work with gamersgate.com

Ugh.. just wish they would give us a date like they have the americans.. and hopefully not one that is over a month away

When GG first started they had alot of problems with credit cards because of their location. So they added the Paypal method. Best part is that you do *not* jhave to make a paypal account to use it! When you opt to pay by paypal, you get taken to a screen where you can choose to log into paypal or just tell it you want to enter your billing info and pay directly without logging in. This is the method I use to buy games with gamers gate all the time and it works great. I'm downloading KB:tL as we speak.

Well whatever the case i will still have to wait if i get a new card that will probably work.. damnit.. no easy solutions for me it seems

U dont need to call the bank u need to call the credit card company. aftter u make a paypal acount they charge u 2$ once these 2 $ are confirmed (the reason u have to call the credit card company)your acount is activated and u get the 2$ back.

OK, I bought the game from Gamersgate. $40 US and they had it up first thing on the morning of the 23rd Europe team. Respect.

Unfortunately, I seem to have the world's slowest broadband connection. 40kb a second = 15 hours download.

So it looks like I will be waiting one more day to play this.

well I am Thailand and using my slow internet at work and still d/l at 99KB/Sec
